Dragon Age II wont connect to Xbox live

@Greykyne There are a few messages like this. Can you attach a screenshot of the error you are getting?

Which Xbox are you playing on?

These are the ones that pop up. Again I know I am connected to the internet and have used the internet in the background while playing.

@Greykyne Ahh okay, so those errors are a disconnect between the EA account and whatever console you are on. In this case Xbox. It has nothing to do with the game or your internet.

Reset the password to Xbox

Reset the password to the EA account

Once reset, load back into any EA game and see if you get the same error.

I tried resetting both my ea and microsoft account passwords, restarted my Xbox one X, and got the same error. I also tried fully turning off and disconnecting the power cable to no avail. Of note: DA Inquisition has no problem connecting to DA servers on the same xbox at almost the same time. DA II will not connect.

@Greykyne  Gotcha. Does this happen the moment you launch it? Are you able to get into the option settings within the game?

I am downloading it now but I am on Series X. If it is a server issue, I will get the same error.

The errors pop up right after I press start when I open the game and try to log into my account again since I'm playing a 360 game on one x.  I still have full functionality within the game and can get to options. I attached to customer support information in options/account in case that is what you needed.

@Greykyne There is a disconnect somewhere. That error typically means one of the following:

You either don't own the content (another EA account on that console does)

The content is not downloaded correctly (you can always uninstall just the content from manage games and apps)
It was part of EA Play and you no longer own that.

With Dragon Age and Mass Effect, the image you attached generally indicates an issue with the DLC, your account, or a save file you have has content you don't own. Regardless of your account owning it, that is when the errors happen.

I launched the game on the Series X and had no issues which means it isn't a game issue as I have tested both a random personal act and a work act.

When you launch the game and go into the options, if your EA account is logging in correctly, you will see your EA account in the "account" section of the settings.

If you are not, the game does not recognize the account. That is the part you have to figure out. Since the 360 servers are closing down, it doesn't recognize it as a 360 game any longer. 

When you launch the game, can you press start and select and bring up the 360 dashboard? It should show the account you are playing on. If not it isn't connecting. If it does, and you go back into the game settings, under the account, and it is not logged in, there is a disconnection in the EA account connecting to the game.

I was able to get my Xbox to connect to my ea account by going into my storage within the 360 dashboard, but my DA II playthrough will still not upload to DA keep. They are the same account, I triple checked. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no avail.

@Greykyne That is good! When you are in the keep what is happening? Are you getting the oops error or does it not sync when you replay from startup?
