Dragon Age Inquisition - missing saves

So I just re-installed DA:I because I was curious about the Trespasser DLC. I have all my save games in the Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save directory and my Inquisitor shows up in Keep yet the game cannot seem to see it. I tried every suggestion I could find via Google searches but no dice.

Please tell me there is a way to restore my save games because there is absolutely no way I'm sinking another 90 hours into beating this game just so I can play the end game DLC...

I had the savegames in the directory along with the two profile files.

I got lucky and was able to fire up the game on my desktop and it had the character working properly. I then had Origin do a cloud save and then I used that cloud save to restore on my laptop. Now things seem to be working.

Thanks for the suggestion though, hopefully someone else in the same situation can give it a shot.

use the Origin Cloud, your last save might be there. Otherwise they should be on your computer unless you got a new one and didn't copy them to disk to move them or, you deleted them form Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age Inquisition/Save.

The Origin cloud save showed nothing. I copied the entire Documents\Bioware directory when I refreshed my laptop so all the save games and profile files are there but nothing shows up in the game.

I tried one of the solutions I found in this forums to create a new character and then try to see if the option to switch characters appeared but my old champion doesn't show.  The weird thing is when I logged into Keep and looked at my Inquisition status, it clearly shows 2 champions (the new one from today and my old one) so something must have gotten backed up.

The only hope is that I have another install on my desktop so I'll see if that still has everything.

Okay so, you have a copy of your Old Documents/ Bioware/Dragon Age Inquisition folder - Good.

First open that copy, look for the sub folder called Save and open it. Are there any files in that folder?

If so, excellent, you found your old saved games so, copy those files, except the two with "profile" in the titles.

Now go to your new Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age Inquisition/Save folder and paste those old saves you just copied in there.

Start the game, from the main menu select LOAD, then choose the character and load up those old saves. 🙂

Okay so I'm having the same problem. The game was fine yesterday and I go to play when I got off work tonight and no character saves. I did what you suggested and copy and pasted the save files from my Bioware doctuments but still none of my characters show up in the load menu. Any suggestions?
