Dragon Age Inquisition DLC bundle on Origin won't download

Hi,

I got the Dragon Age Inquisition base game as a gift a couple of months ago on Origin and just downloaded the DLC bundle. I can see the DLC bundle status is unlocked in the extra content tab. However when I click to download the individual DLC nothing happens. I read in another post that you need to uninstall the game and when you reinstall you'll be able to download the DLC together as well. However when I try to redownload the game, the DLC bundle content doesn't show up as available to download. I can only see the multiplayer DLCs. Anyone know how I can download the DLC bundle? Any help is appreciated.

  • Hi,

I actually managed to fix it using the following instructions from Holger1405 in this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Client-Web-Technical/Issue-with-Origin-and-DLC/td-p/7024303

    • Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
    • Move the "Dragon Age Inquisition" folder from inside the "LocalContent" folder  to your desktop.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
    • Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
    • In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
    • Open the "Local" folder.
    • Delete the "Origin"  folder inside the  "Local" folder.
    • Restart your PC. > test

I was then able to redownload the game with all DLC included. I think it might have worked if I just restarted Origin though to be honest haha. To answer your question, the DLC bundle said unlocked and the individual DLCs had a download button and a purchase as gift button. Thanks for taking your time to help.

@Howyebe123 To confirm if you select DAI in your Origin game library, you should see an extra content tab, does the DLC you purchased so as download or details, or to purchase?
