I had to look up how to use event viewer, as I've not looked into it before, but if I figured it out alright (I'm looking under 'windows logs' at the 'application' and 'system' logs) there is nothing created in those logs when I attept to run the Dragon Age software, niether from within Origin, nor directly from the install directory.
When I first tried to run DA:I I did not have Geforce Experience installed, I only had the nVidia control panel. I installed GeForce Experience as the recommended way to make sure my driver was up to date and that my game settings were optimized.
I was not aware that there was any such thing as an nVidia sound driver. A cursory examination of my sound drivers turns up an 'nVidia HD sound driver', which was apparently installed at the same time as GeForce Experience. I have removed it by your recommendation (I'm sure I didn't need it anyway, as I've been fine without it for some time). There is no change in the behavior of DA:I, however.
