It started working again, and has now been working reliably for several days, and through multiple restarts.
I guess it's stable now, but I don't know what made it start working.
Have you downloaded the new patch for the game?? Patch 5...it has made a difference on several people's ability to run the game.

I just reinstalled the game before my post yesterday, so I assume it downloaded and installed with the new patch intact. I've also run the repair feature to double check, but I can't find a place to confirm what patch my installation is on.

Can't get DA:I to start, basically cloud sync will start up and nothing happens. Already reinstalled twice and switch Origin in and out of beta version
My problem is that today Origin said that it needs to be updated. So it updated itself and as it is in most cases, if failed at it. Miserably. All it told me was "Something went wrong, re-install Origin". For 8th time in total since I've used Origin. DAI was showing up as grayed out on my game list, with a link saying "Update available, update now" which didn't do anything at all.
So I re-installed Origin and tried to launch DAI - nothing. Origin does open now but DAI is still showing up as grayed out in my game list. I cannot click on "Play" button and the link which earlier mentioned an update is nowhere to be seen now. When I right click on DAI on my game list and select "Update" nothing happens. I see no "Repair" link anywhere. So game simply is not accessible suddenly after Origin update fail. I've re-scanned my games, checked several things listed here (none of which helps) but the DAI stays as grayed out on my games list and I cannot start it.
Don't tell me that I have to re-install the WHOLE GAME now because of this silly Origin update debacle?
