Guys I got mine to work as well.
You have to go to Nvidia Control pannel (make sure you download the "Geforce Experience" app/program) and download the latest driver they just put out.
I'm using a Geforce 740m, i7 Asus Laptop and the game stopped crashing after I downloaded the latest driver that supports Dragon Age Inquisition.
I kept having the same black screen issue as you all, the one that kept my game crashing back to desktop...and this solved it.
Now, IF, downloading the latest driver doesn't work for you, either call EA Customer Service or unfortunately get a refund and just save up for a PS4.
Although I'm currently running the game at the lowest settings with Dragon Age 2-like graphics, since I'm on a gaming Laptop, everything turned out just fine after I updated my drivers.

I have AMD, so I went to the AMD Catalyst Control Center, and there aren't any options like NVIDIA has. Only two 3D options in gaming, and that's it. I set that to the lowest, and tried running the game again, and crashed before it could even launch! Please help if you can!
