I may have a solution for some of you guys.
My game also crashed many many times, i already wanted to leave the game for good till they fix it, it was mostly in battles.
But i tried this:
In the MAIN MENU (NOT THE IN GAME MENU, I think it works somehow differently) -> Go to Options -> Go to Display -> at Fullscreen option se Windowed Fullscreen -> save it and then close and open game.
I have already played like 3-5 hours without crashing.
Hope this will help at least some of you....
Thanks alot dude, it worked for me!!!Finaly i can play normaly!!!

I just bought DA:I This evening. Totally excited, 2 hour download, bought the deluxe edition, so I get the extra goodies and it was on sale. Get about 25 mins into the game, randomly in a conversation.... Ptttthhh... CTD, no error or anything. Audio was still playing in the back ground and the game icon still on start bar. Audio went away once it finished that audo file. Had to close the program through task manager (Which still said RUNNING instead of not responding).
I've tried all the fixes listed that apply to me. Playing in windowed mode, stopping GF Experience, lowering graphics, nothing running in the background, AV disabled and even uninstalled just for kicks. No firewall, etc.
All drivers and updates are in place. Tried beta and non beta drivers...
I'm starting to get a little irritated that EA and/or Bioware haven't at least acknowledged this post.... My rig is more than capable of running this game maxed out....
AMD FX6200 Black 8 Core
16 gigs of RAM
GeForce GTX 760 4gig - All drivers up to date
Windows 7 Ultimate - All updates applied
Logitech Illuminated Keyboard - Setpoint up to date
Logitech G9x - Setpoint up to date
I'm out of ideas and this is really starting to irk me....
*UPDATE*
Welp, I was just able to play for about 2 hours. Lots of battles, lots of exploring and gathering. Knocked some quests out, gathered a bunch of stuff, etc etc. I was actually getting pretty excited. "MAYBE I fixed the problem". NOPE! In the middle of talking to Mother Whatshername, BOOP! Dropped to desktop. Game looks like it's running in the background, icon is there, it's listed in Task Manager but it's not working.
This is really starting to **bleep** me off. I took a break from EA and BioWare games due to glitches like this. Thought I'd take a chance again on DA, since I love this series. And now I see what my loyalty has gotten me... EA it'd be REAL nice if someone would at least let us know "Hey! Yea, we see you're having problems and we're working on it!"
If this were some random gamer fan site, I could understand. But this is EA'S WEBSITE. C'Mon guys, get with the program, PLEASE. You've got a ton of people out here having the SAME issue, on random machines, random configurations. Some of us are updated and have done what we're supposed to do, others have not. It's OBVIOUSLY an issue with the game itself. At least let us know you're working on it.....

Crashing occurs for me ONLY during cutscenes and war table. Period. It's so damned frustrating. I can play the rest of the game with no problem.
Weirdly, if it crashes during a cutscene, I have a possibility of reloading the game and trying again without a crash. To that extent it's random. However, I never crash during exploration, crafting, or combat.Switching to windowed mode had no effect for me. Monitoring GPU temps--no problems there. May try a lower temp in Nvidia Inspector. Grrr.
C'mon EA--what's up with this???
