Dragon Age: Inquisition keeps crashing to desktop

It comes up with an error saying that the driver has stopped working but has recovered.

This always happens when I try to load my game or always at the beginning of the Tutorial Pride Demon Boss fight, or at the very end. The game runs smoothly and I have the latest NVIDIA drivers. I dont know what is happening, I have tried all the suggestions I could find but nothing worked.

That happened to me, and I fix it runing the Dx installer inside the game's installation directory:
go into the game folder /Dragon Age Inquisition/_Installer/directx/redist , run DXSETUP.exe as administrator - This has solved the random directx function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" crash

You, sir, are a genius! I had this problem at the end of every other cutscene and nothing helped. But this solved the problem. Thank you!

Thanks so much. I was experiencing this error on an iMac running Bootcamp. I kept trying to solve this with updated video card drivers and not succeeding. Nice to have an easy solution that really works!

I tried this but it still keeps doing the same crash

This worked for a couple hours then it started up again.

Unfortunately this doesn't solve the problem, frankly I still think it is Origin as most EA games seem to have this issue until you crack the game and remove all traces of origin. Going to go attempt to see if this fixes my troubles.

I disabled origin ingame, and the chat sequence that was crashing went on smooth, (it's in origin application settings)

well nvm, it decreased the crashed but they didn't go away, waiting on a patch I guess....

My dad and I at two different locations with two different PCs that both meet the requirements and exceed them get so many crashes the game is literally unplayable, this is unbearable
Frankly unacceptable for a 60$ product
