Dragon Age Inquisition: PC and PS3 playing together, how can i do that?
Hi, I have problems playing with my friend:
I have Dragon Age Inquisition installed on PC, an Origin Account and a PSN account linked to the Origin one.
My friend has Dragon Age Inquisition on Playstation3, a PSN account and a Origin account linked to the PSN one.
I've added my friend through Origin: I see his Origin account when he is online with that but i can't see his PSN account online (So i can't see him playing Dragon Age or invite him or get invited by him)
He tried add my PSN account with his PS3: He can't see me online (So we can't play Dragon Age togheter)
How can we see each other online so we can play together? How can my Origin see his PSN online to send or receive the invite for the multiplayer game?
Thanks for the help
From the FAQ:
"Will MP support cross-platform play?
· Players will only be able to play Dragon Age Multiplayer with people from the same platform. No cross platform play will be available.
"
So it looks like, unfortunately, it was never intended for cross platform play. Even if it were possible, I imagine there'd be an issue with PS3 and a current gen console or PC, since support for PS3 & Xbox 360 was cut at patch 8, while the other platforms are at patch 11.
Sorry ☹️
