Dragon Age Inquisition Skill Slot Problems

Dragon Age Inquisition - Two of my skill slots and one potion slot has turned red rendering them unusable. Just the main character is affected. My character is nearly level 20 so I have been playing for a while with no issues. Help?

Have you tried shutting down and restarting you your PS4/Xbox/PC? I found that a lot of minor issues with the game are solved that way.
