AntiVirus started causing issues earlier this year or late last year, which is about one or two years AFTER they stopped patching and releasing content. So honestly, it isn't EA's fault that AVG and Avast decided a game that had been unchanged in over a year, had to be a virus and thus prevented from working. Sorry, this is an issue with AVAST or AVG not DAI.
Specs DO matter, as many people don't or won't use computers up to the min specs when trying to play a game, and many seem to think Intel makes good graphics devices.
Congrats, other games can work...other games can NOT work too, see just about any game forum and you will find similar posts about their game.
So, If you really want help, the please post a DxDiag file, post the exact things you have tried, and you may also want to try a clean boot for your system to see if you have a program cross interference. You will also want to NOT use Razor mouse software products, as they often conflict. Please post the name of your Anti-virus. IF AVG or AVAST, then have you put in exceptions(global) for Origin, DAI, and the saves folder for DAI?? Have you made sure you are putting in running exceptions and not scanning exceptions, as they are different things and will effect the outcome differently.
