Dragon Age Inquisition won't fully launch - Help Plz T.T

Okay, so I've had Dragon Age Inquisition for a little over a year now. Never encountered any real problems until now. Tried playing it the other day and it won't fully launch. The screen with the little green Inquisition symbol in the bottom right corner pops up, goes full screen (I don't usually have it at full screen), goes back to the original screen size, then it closes. I've looked at the Task Manager and it runs it for a second then backs out. I've tried everything I could think of; repairing the game and add-ons, disabled Origin in-game, uninstalled/ re-installed the game, clean booted my laptop, set the GPU at 940m, uninstalled and re-installed vc and directX redist folder exe files and allowed DA:I as an exception through the firewall, and I honestly don't know what else to do. Laptop is a MSI GP70 Leopard 64-bit. Heeeeellllllppppppp

@PockyPanda613 AVG, Nvidia GPUs and this game seem to dislike each other (and recently this issue seems to have popped up again). Most people find that adding exceptions for both the game and Origin to AVG fixes the issue, though some have had to remove AVG and replace it with a less troublesome AV program.  Enjoy the game 🙂

@PockyPanda613 Hey, what anti-virus software do you use? Can you try (temporarily) disabling it as a test?

In some cases security software can be over-zealous and block elements of the game, I suspect that may be a factor here.

    Thanks.

Used free AVG, disabling it worked for now, fingers crossed!
