Dragon Age Inquisition won't launch at all after patch

If you have a Win8 system, try running the game in Compatibility mode and use Win7.  It has fixed several with this issue.  Otherwise, post some specs and lets see what you have to work with..DXDiag file and if you can remember what video options you had in game...and did you change any options on the last time you ran it??

[EDIT:  No, no, NO! The game is actually optimized for Win8.1.  See other suggestions below, but not this.  --TNL]

I'm having the exact same issue. I've been playing since launch on a Windows 8 PC without issue, on ultra settings. But ever since I installed the patch, the game won't even start.

Did you try repairing the game and run a registry clean? I pretty much always do those 2 things and never had a problem post-patches.

I have been playing for 50+ hours without mahor issues, but now since patch 3 the game launches, but when I hit continue it starts to load but then crashes to desktop, no error messages.  Windows 7 machine, only just meets requirements but has been fine to play so far.

Try a different save than the continue button one...it may have created/fried that save at some point either during the next load or update.  So try an earlier save...and learn to NOT overwrite saves, it will save you many issues, cause overwriting is a major factor in corrupting of saves.  If you have too many saves for comfort/use, then delete the earlier ones in a play, but I would keep first two and about 10 of the last just in case.

Yes, I have this issue as well: I hit the play button and nothing
I've been working all day doing ever fix possible: Dissabeling Origins in game, Uninstalling and re installing the game, Updating my graphics card, I even did a system restore on my computer but that just made it worse! Before the game would at least appear in a windowed mode before it crashed, but now it doesn't even show up. Like I said: I hit ''play'' and nothing. On Task Manager it shows that Inqusition is working in the background but it's at 0%.
I don't know what else to do, anyone please help!

Same issue here after installing Patch 6. The game worked just fine, now it won't launch at all, no error, no nothing, simply doesn't start. I can see the DragonAgeInquisition.exe in the task manager, but the game won't work. Tried repairing the game, disabling Origin in-game, didn't help.

I am having the same issue as well and I've tried everything I can think of but it just won't run it.
