Via epic, or desktop icon, or EA app.
Full reinstall, repaired install, as admin and not.
Run game.

Tall rectangle like the login box pops up, goes away.

Acts like I never clicked to run it. Never shows up on task manager or as "running" besides in Epic, and that just stays saying "running" forever.
whoops. now I'm stuck in a "Launching Game" endless loop. never mind, it's just refusing.
Two errors seem important here:
There is a Windows update error "0x800F0984" that also indicates a missing component.
1. Hit Windows key and X.
2. Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
7. After it reaches 100% reaped steps 1 & 2
8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
10. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.
I can't guarantee that this will fix this problem, a in place upgrade, also know as Widows repair install might be necessary to fix this problem.
The second error is a "AppHangB1" error in regards to EA app, this kind of error is often driver related.
