Dragon Age Inquisition Won't Launch

So I reinstalled the game after some years away and on a new PC. It seems Origin doesn't exist anymore and the EA app handles all now. But for the life of me I can't do anything to launch Dragon Age ...

    @andresdecide Hey, honestly I am not sure why unless the issue with the ISP was blocking a connection which some have before, and when systems were restored on their end an update happened. I had not changed anything on my end to get it to work. DAI is doesn't have an online access or anything so besides replacing the entire game, no changes here would have been made to resolve it.

I have now tried additional steps: 

  • Deleted temp files
  • Checked the reliability monitor and crash dumps, no entries there
  • Added the registry entry for creating a dump file, nothing is created since the game isn't ever opened
  • Deleted the License folder in ProgramData

It is still not working. No new entries on the DxDiag, but I attach an example of the type of error messages I get (when I get them, usually once or twice per reboot of the PC, other times is just infinite loading)

1. Hit Windows key and X.
2. Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
7. After it reaches 100% reaped steps 1 & 2
8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
10. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.

    @holger1405 Yes, I tried those steps too. DISM reported no errors or corruption. Sfc said:

    Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

    Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

    Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

    I also did the clean boot method with nothing but windows services and EA enabled, but it didn't work... Also checked the event viewer, in case something is registered there, but nothing,,,

      There are some Windows update errors and a "LiveKernelEvent" error in your DxDiag, so it seams the commands did not fixed the relevant data inside windows. 

      • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
      • Into the new window, type or copy & paste:  "%temp%"   (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
      • Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
        (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

      Then:

      • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
      • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
      • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse.
      • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
      • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
      • Restart the PC > Reinstall the newest version of EA app from here.
      • Repair DAi. > Test.

        @holger1405 I deleted the temp files (required reboot, as expected) and ran Revo Uninstaller. The screenshot is from the remaining content found... Then I downloaded the EA App from the link provided (following the restarts) and repaired DAI... And still nothing... 

        I add another screenshot that may be of importance: It shows I have lots of hours on DAI and all the achievements (which is correct) but no date for my last played date, like the game never opened since I installed the App. It was like this from the beggining and never changed...
