Every new game to your PC you must manually enter Geforce Control Panel to create a game entry and in there force the GPU to wake up. Until nVIDIA writes a better driver that handles switching automatically.

i was trying manually set my graphic card in Geforce Control Panel but its not working. Just the game dont see my GT 650M and this problem is generally with game 64bit.
For example my GeForce Gt 650M works with BF4 32 bit but not with 64 bit.
And this problem is with:
CoD Advanced Warfare - 64 bit
Titanfall - 64 bit
Dragon Age Inquisition - 64 bit
Battlefield 4 - 64 bit - Anonymous11 years ago
The only thing that tells me is that you have a driver problem with that GPU, or else the physical card itself is defective. Ask aroiund to any friends running games to borrow a different late model GPU long enough for some testing, or take the card with you and put in the friend's machine to test there.

LOL
If you are going to advise on this, at least make sure you know what you are talking about instead of giving such advice.
The "M" attached to that video card make/model means that it is on a laptop. They can not just swap out the GPU for a laptop as you would a desktop. And yes, there are many laptops that can run this game perfectly fine.
@VeganRevenge8 wrote:I have laptop with Intel HD Graphics and GeForce GT 650M and the game use only Intel HD Graphic. When i run game i try run with "nvidia high performance" but its not working.
I am using GPU-Z to control this and i see that Dragon Age use Intel HD Graphic my GeForce doesn't work.Open up Nvidia Control Panel Application, click on Manage 3D Settings, then set within the Global tab: Preferred Graphics Processor to "High-performance NVIDIA processor"
Make sure that setting saves and then click the Progam Settings tab which is next to Global
You can add this game and select it to always choose NVIDIA if you like. However having the global setting with the other settings being default will tell it to use your NVIDIA graphics card.
For some reason when auto-selecting settings, it bases it off of the intel on-board instead of your actual primary video card so you will need to make adjustments manually to the graphic settings.

Nothing help i tried everything and my geforce doesn't work with 64 bit games. With game 32 bit works good but not with 64bit. And this is not problem with hardware or setting, many people have this same problem. We need patch from EA or Gefroce.
I just bought a new laptop for this game and have a similar problem
Acer Aspire VN7-791G-70M4
i7-4710HQ 2.5GHz
8GB DDR3 L Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M 4GB
Problem is, when I want to start the game it tells me to update my driver to v344.75. If I want to do that, the installation stops, telling me 'no compatible hardware found'. I read that this driver doesn't support the Intel Hybrid Technology used to switch between the both graphic cards. But how do I get the neccessary update for my graphics card to run the game properly? Acer doesn't provide anything else than the regular NVIDIA vga drivers yet.
Is there a solution to this?I can run the game with the onboard Intel card but of course it lacks on performance.I think about returning the laptop and get my money back. What use for having a good graphics card but not being able to use it on a new game.

You do not want to depend on any laptop manufacturer for drivers; that's sure way to get left behind after a very short while. See if the Omega Driver for that card satisfies the game's requirements, and if so, notice that they are free, and consider how helpful the driver was for you.
No, the Omega drivers don't work either, I get the same error message.
I had a Acer laptop for the last three years, it had a ATI card - never had any problems like this. That's what you get for branching out.
