Dragon Age Inqusition not launching[PC]

I tried all the steps you messaged about and made sure no other software was running, but the game still will not launch when i select it

Just sticking my nose and two bits in here, but you may want to try and uninstall your Razor software as a temp measure and try the game again.  In your Dx text there were a bunch of errors and such for Razor software, usually from mouse or keyboards, and in the past Razor software along with other mouse software causes launch issues and game issue for DA:I.

If this doesn't help, @holger1405 will probably be able to walk you through other steps to fix your issue.  I have seen clean boots miss things like software for mouse and such, so that is why I am suggesting to uninstall it, if it doesn't help, you can reinstall it after you get the game running.

i deleted all the software and it still wont launch unfortunately.

i deleted all of my Razer software, and it still wont launch the game. here is a new DxDiag report after i uninstalled the software. any more ideas/suggestions?

There are still "GameManagerService3.exe" errors all over your DxDiag. (Part of Razer Synapse oder Razer Game Manager.) They could be old errors, but are you 100% sure that you uninstalled all Razer software? (And restarted your computer.)

• Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
• Install the graphics driver and GFE. > Go online.
• Test.

I am certain i removed all Razer from my computer as i used Revo to remove it all and restarted after every uninstall so i think they are old errors as i cannot find anything in my registry either. I will try using the guide you provided and hope it fixes the problem.

I ran DDU and it still fails to launch. any more suggestions?

Has the game run on this machine before?

I did download some mods for the game, however, i also uninstalled the game, and repaired it multiple times before coming on here for help. Also this game has not run on any PC i own as i just bought it recently after it went on sale.

Did you used Revo for the uninstall as well? Did you uninstalled EA app as well?

• Hit Windows key and X.
• Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
• Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
• If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
• Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
• The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
• After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key and X again.
• Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command Prompt (Administrator)”
• Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes. >ENTER.
• Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.

I did use Revo on both the game and the EA app. Here are the messages that i received after running the commands in PowerShell.

So i went ahead and installed DAI on another PC that is Intel based and running Windows 10 and now the game launches fine. so its either AMD or Windows 11 that is causing me all this grief

I don't think that the problem is with the CPU or Windows 11.

Have you done what is described in post 12 and are you getting DA dump files?

I did try everything that you had listed in post 12 but it never worked. Also i don't think i ever got any DA dump files either

I repeated the steps on post 12 and i have run the commands that you have listed below, however, Dragon Age Inquisition still will not launch. i have included screenshots from PowerShell.

Are there any "Dump" files after you after you have repeated the steps?

It doesn't say there are any dump files created. where would i go to see if there are any?

This means the game is also not starting for you.

Create a new Windows user account  (Administrator) don't use local special characters, use only characters from the ASCII table

• Reboot > Log in to the new user account.
• Test.

I created a new user, but it still wouldn't launch, so i reset my PC back to a clean install. it is now running for me. many thanks for all your help @holger1405
