DA: O is nearly five years old. The Bioware Social Network site and DA: O were designed and released together. BSN remained buggy during the entire short period that it struggled to exist. Compared to anything Bioware had ever done as a "community reach", it was a total disaster. The business of game character profiles was only the worst of the foolishness that never worked properly.

Ok, issue is fairly simple...
1) DAO was designed to work with old Bioware Social web site and uploaded pics and stats to that site.
2) EA/Bioware did away with that site and for a short time kept the background data of this still running.
3) EA/Bioware created the keep to take the place of Bioware social for all new DA games starting with DAI.
4) Keep was originally mining data from the Bioware Social site to make the tapestry.
5) Bioware/EA totally shut down the Bioware Social site background data semi-recently.
So, DAO is designed to upload data to a site that doesn't exist anymore, and the Keep can't doesn't interface with DAO directly. What this means is there is no way for the old game DAO to get data to the keep. If you want your data on the keep, you have to manually go into the keep, and edit the data in, by choosing character, class, history, and choices made for all previous games to DAI.
Can this be changed...yes, but not easily, and there is, at this time, no financial reason for EA/Bioware to do so. The work around is clumsy, but fully functional in that all your data for a play can get to the DA Keep, it just takes a bit of work by you.
