Dragon Age Origins Free

Yesterday I was going to obtain copies of Dragon Age Origins for a few Origin accounts my family has because I knew it was the last day it would be free. I tried to get them yesterday, but I could not manage to do so. I kept finding information saying that I could get it free on Origin, but I still could not find how to get it. How was I able get the game for free? I had posted a question about it yesterday, but the reply I received did not answer my question.  I posted this new question because the old one shows up as "solved."  I would appreciate any help I could get.  Thanks.
