@Wightwind Thanks for the detailed post. Does your windows give any appropriate error message pointing to the cause of the crash?
I'd start with a repair, but I suspect that won't have an effect. It should be a quick way to check that the game itself isn't damaged.
Right-click the game's panel in Origin to get the option to repair.
In a lot of cases if there's a whole shutdown it's a hardware or driver issue. We'll hope for the former, so can you try a clean reinstall of your graphics card drivers?
Cheers.
Allright, will try the repair and clean install of GPU drivers. Its strange, the problem seemed fixed yesterday afternoon after I made the post, then this morning its happening again. Very strange

Scratch that, did the repair and a clean install of drivers, same problem. Will try some other solutions from online in the meantime. Any other suggestions? The bug itself is happening now consistently when talking to the sloth demon at the end of the fade in the Broken Circle questline.

Tried any of the solutions here? https://forum.bioware.com/topic/95820-the-sloth-demon-is-difficult-enough-to-beat/page-2
Main one seems to be disable autosave, load to a save before the sloth demon, and then play through, turning autosave back on after.
There are some other fixes though, revolving round changing different graphics settings, try them too.
