Dragon Age Origins PS3 DLC is missing after installation

So I know there are a lot of threads about dlc issues on this site, however they are nearly all pc oriented and my problem is on the ps3. So I'm not expecting everyone who plays it on the pc to have all the answers but if anyone has heard of a solution from previous threads (read as much as I could but may have missed or skimmed over something) then it'd be much appreciated to hear em.

Whenever I go on DA the DLC I have definitely installed isn't there, its missing, there's no quest indicators or locations or anything, as if I haven't downloaded it in the first place. Now since I'm on a ps3 the solutions involving "offer" files and such can't help me (as much I dearly want them to). Any ideas?

My copy of DAO is second hand since I sold my original copy years ago. I have downloaded and installed all the dlc again, installed the 1.06 ps3 patch, downloaded and installed the game data but when I play the game no dlc shows up.

If I click on the downloadable content section it says there is nothing there for me to download. At Sulchers Pass there is an option for me to buy the Stone Prisoner content but when I go there an error message pops up saying I need to be connected to both the PSN (which I definitely am) and the Dragon Age Servers (not so sure about, although there is no prompt for me to sign in to the server at the main menu like there is if I have no internet).

Is there any way for me to play the DLC?
