Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition Cd-key problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition, I bought it with Origin itself, played, had fun, uninstalled and now i would like to start over again however i encounter a problem. I can play main module and awakening expansion (there is also blood dragon armor available) however no other dlc. And my downloadable content is not working properly. Here are some things i've noticed:

1.  There is no DAUpdater.Service.msc in my _binship directory (only daupdater.exe).

2.  DAOriginsConfig claims that there is no cd-key in registry. I tried to "install" it using Dragon Age_code.exe that i found in Dragon Age\docs directory. The product key from Origin does not working.

3 . I tried to install patch 1.05 from bioware site and it fixed those bugs however i was unable to start the game (see the screenshots).

4.  After installing patch 1.05 from bioware site i am able to manually add cd-key to registry (it shows up in DAOriginsConfig) however still not sure if it's fixing the no dlc bug due to the error.

i did read the Unnoficial Troubleshooting Guide and the official advices but they didn't worked due to lack of DAUpdater.services and error in Dragon Age_code.exe.

I've tried to download the game again but it didn't change anything. As i said the game was bought on Origin, was downloaded by Origin and was installed by Origin... And it's not working... Anyone have any idea what should i do?

I don't know how to attache screenshots to this message so I'm sharing the google Drive directory with them. bin_ship after is screenshots from my bin_ship directory after manually installing the patch bin_ship before is before that (clear Origin version), Error1 is screenshot of error i get when i try to run the game after installing the patch. Downloadable content is screenshot from game (i cut my email but it is a proper email and a proper account the i'm log in with), the only DLC visible is Blood Dragon Armor (screenshot come from the time i did not installed Awakening expansion, but it's installation didn't change anything). DAOriginsConfig is a screenshot from the file of the same name on clear Origin version. As u can see no cd keys. So, anyone knows how to fix it so i can play all DLC's before DA:Inquisition?

All screenshots

Oh and also:

Oh I went on my Bioware account and was able to download them all and it worked!! I'm still a bit worried about the missing files, but hopefully that will get fixed sometime in the origin client, anyway thankyou 🙂

I've had this exact same problem, trying all the solutions you have and had the same results. Does anyone know a fix for this?

I've downloaded dazips with every single DLC, installed them using DAUpdater.exe, loged in the game and log on bioware account. All DLC are active and available to play, however i didn't have enough time to test if there are no bugs later in game. I will send you the url of site where i downloaded them in a few hours try if it will help you. (However still no cd key in register, no DAUpdeterSVC.Service or anything else, but, as long as I can play, I don't care 😉)

  • It's a hassle, but if you did the DA/UE download only about half the DLC is installed directly from EA/Origin.

The rest is available to you from your "Player Entitlements Page" on the BioWare Social Network.

Just log-on to the BSN and go to "Your registered game content", scroll down to the DAO stuff, look on the right-hand side of the screen for a "Download" or a "More Info" link, and follow the on-screen instructions to go from there!

(I just had to do a complete re-install after switching computers, so I feel your pain.)

I already figured it out, but still, do You have any idea why there is no CD-Key in register (in 1.05 patch from origin) and no DAUpdaterSVC.Service.exe? Installing Patch 1.05 from bioware site adds 13 files to bin_ship folder. That's what i believe is wrong at the first place, not missing DLCs,

however still thanks for help 😉
