Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition on Steam
I bought Dragon Age Origins on Steam.
Sadly on Steam there is no Dragon Age 2.
I want to know if there is I need to buy Dragon Age Origins on Origin in order to have all the DLCs and in order to import my save file for Dragon Age 2.
Today my plan is to play Dragon Age Origin on Steam, with the few DLCs they provide, such as Awekening, and later buy Dragon Age 2 on Origin. Perhaps my plan is good, perhaps it is not.

- You have many options, but the basic answer to your question is "Yes, you can import the world-state from the end of your Steam-install of DAO to an Origin- (or other-)install of DA2." (You know you don't actually import your character, right?)
Your saved games are in the same location under your user profile regardless of install method.
But you can also remove your Steam version and install DAO (including any DLC you've already purchased) using EA/Origin AT NO CHARGE. (Your saves will work just fine in the re-installed DAO too.)
It might be cheaper to pay for a whole new UE, or it might not. Depends on how much of the DLC you already bought, and how much you want the ones you don't already have.
