Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition patch 1.05 steam support

I purchased DA:O ultimate edition on steam because I had a gift card, but now it wont let me download promotional content because it says my game is not up to date, I went to Bioware's link to download the update but my computer then says the update is not compatible with steam. I then went to steam but couldn't figure out how to update my game.  Can someone please get me to the 1.05 update for steam... thankyou
