Dragon age origins ultimate for steam

I have the ultimate edition but I cannot play awakening why is this?
It simply doesn't show up in the DLC

I see, thanks for the info.

One workaround that might help is to contact our support, who can grant an Origin version of the UC: http://help.ea.com/en/article/contact-ea-help/

Now this isn't for everyone, but it might be easier than other options. Back on your issue, you could try restarting your machine with a Clean Boot, temporarily disabling security software and trying he UpdateAddins step again, in case the failure is related to security or another 3rd-party program.

Can I check if you've right-clicked the game on steam then checked the DLC section of Properties?

When you start the game and choose Other Campaigns, is Awakening there? Is your other content?

    Thanks.

  • Same problem here. I tried google and found a few fixes but none of them worked. Getting very frustrated as I paid for the game but can't access awakening.

Hey, what steps were taken already? It'll help so that there aren't duplicate suggestions. For example I'd start with the "verify integrity of game cache" step.

    Thanks.

  • Tried verifying the cache but nothing was wrong there, no files re-downloaded. Tried running DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam.exe but it just hangs about 3/4 of the way through and doesn't finish and Finally I tried to update my Addins.xml located in my documents using the manifest.xml from the local files through the steamapps location but the end result of that is my other DLCs disappear and "Other Campaigns" gets greyed out.

  • Thanks so much, David! I started the clean boot and disabled my AVG anti virus and re ran the UpdateAddins and it worked! Might look into a different anti virus after this. Thanks again!
