Dragon Age Origins Wynne Glitch

I played Inquisition first and loved the game so much that I decided to go back and play the first two.  I am in Origins and in the Broken Circle I am TRYING to get out of Wynne's Nightmare, but there is a glitch that will not play the cutscene after killing the demons and clicking on the portal pedestal says "cannot do this while still in combat," though combat has completed.

I saw a few suggestions online, but none work for me.  1) Reload previous "auto-save" 2) Wait for a bit so the scene loads - it never loads 3) Walk just past the pedestal and the scene would load - the cutscene never loads.

I have also Repaired the game files.

Any suggestions?  I would like to be able to finish this game - it's an awesome game, not to mention EA should remove it or offer it for free - they have had 10 years to fix this.
