I own the ultimate edition of dragon age origins on steam and upon reinstalling the game all the dlc is there to download expect awakenings. i have tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall dragon age without any success. what should i do to be able to play awakenings.
I just had a similar issue. Awakening disappeared from my main Origin window. I found it under the main game window. Apparently Origin created a new expansion category under main games. Problem is, it is not tied into the main game anymore so when clicking Awakening to play, it just launches Origin. Awakening is thus not playable.

It's supposed to do that. You have to start the expansion by selecting other campaigns in the main menu.
Yes, I know that. But the problem here is that the option to select Awakenings from within the game is completely gone. That screen asking you which module you want to play is gone. You can only start a new DAO game or load an existing DAO game. Awakenings is gone.
That's indeed an odd problem.
I would suggest repairing the installation in Origin. If that's no enough, uninstall Awakening and reinstall it through the Origin client.
