Dragon Age:Origins keeps crashing.
When I try to leave Lothering to engage the bandits north of town, the game keeps crashing as the battle starts. Sometimes I get an error message, sometimes it just crashes. I've seen posts about downloading third-party software to fix an issue with too little available RAM on modern PCs, but I'm hesitant to try unauthorized add-ons. Is this the only fix, or is there another viable option?
