There are already many threads on this topic with solutions. No need to make another one.
Easiest way to get your achievement is load a save prior to killing a dragon, kill it again, and it should fire the achievement. Only one that doesn't work is crestwood's dragon
- ApprovedAnonymous10 years agoI was told by a customer service representative from Bioware to post in the forum so I did, and if you actually read my post, you would see that I don't have a save to reload, hence why I'm posting. Yes, the solution might be to do another play through but that's a few months from now since I'm still playing my first.
Honestly, if a fight bugs and doesn't register as being dead without a reload and then maybe it's that dragon and not the second one you killed, it's still a bug. There is no way of knowing which dragon out of 10 isn't counting for the achievement when the game itself registers every one without a problem.
I'm over 100 hours into the game and killed them as I found them. I can't just reload a save and redo them all.- ApprovedAnonymous10 years ago
You don't have to re-kill the specific dragon that didn't register. You just have to kill any of the previous dragons.
As things currently stand, you could kill a dragon like the western approach dragon 10 times and get the achievement, even if you don't kill any of the other dragons. Crestwood Dragon is the only one that I've seen mention of that doesn't grant the achievement if you go back and kill it again.
Also, I'm not denying that it's a bug. It is a bug and it's an annoying one at that. But the solution to get the achievement is simple.
