Community Manager@Aria1 We wouldn't be able to log in as you. I want to clarify with you. When you log into the game, do you see errors or does it just not show up in the game for you, and you simply can't access that DLC?
Can you attach a screenshot of what you see?
There are a few things you can try I can send you just in case. However, there are only a few reasons why the unauthorized error happens.
Once you start ruling out each one, then it becomes more of an issue with how its being installed and where vs a DLC issue.
I seen this list of possible reasons for the dlc not working from you in another post, as I said I purchased the ultimate version after already buying the dlc before when it was separate I will take a screen shot when logged in so that we can without a doubt rule out that it is a legitimate purchase.
I have reinstalled more times then I can count, 3 or 4 times that day I posted to you as matter of fact. I always run the game with admin privileges I had tried clearing the cache before it had no effect. Right now I have all the dlc at authorized due to the xml edit...but all of the dlc and misc packs I mentioned in other post still are not showing up in hawks mansion as they are suppose to. As for wrong directory ..went so far as to let it install into default C this time and made no difference, also everything installed in correct folders.
I had more pictures think I posted 4 but only 2 are shown if you want something specific please let me know. I have included 2 pictures of the dlc from the main EA login menu.
Community Manager@Aria1 Thank you for the images. No one is doubting the legitimacy of a purchase. If you own that edition that's fine. Sometimes when an account, whether that be your account or someone else's logs in that owns it, or has EA Play which came with the content logs in, DLC can and will download. Those are only the main reasons why DLC does not show up. Not that you didn't legitimately buy it.
Since you followed the guide I set up, did you also delete all temp folders from %temp% location as well in Windows? I would like to know what all you have tried that way we don't send steps you have done that made no difference.
Right now we have
Reinstall
Game client and DLC all on the same directory and not different drives
Deleting just the DLC folders and installing as new
Deleting license folders
@EA_ShepardThink I may have deleted temp folders at some point..but will recheck and let you know if it has any effect.
Ok sadly this had no effect, I had made the mistake also of doing a repair last night (forgot to mention) and all that did was make most dlc unauthorized with exception of black emporium, sabastin and a few baubles.
OK have a idea not sure if your allowed to do this but I am at my wits end, can we remove my existing da2 versions all of them including dlc that was purchased separate and purge it from my account then reissue a da2 ultimate digital that I would have to re-download and install see if that makes any difference?
