[EA app] Dragon Age Inquisition DLC Not Available

I can't buy additional DLC's, can someone help me?

To be more clear, i'm looking to download The Black Emporium DLC. Where should this be available?

  • @iJordiiii The screenshot you showed with the Add-ons tab is the wrong place to look, that tab is also empty on my version. You want to be in Overview > Manage > Manage add-ons. (I'm still not used to the new app, so I get the confusion). I would assume you'd have Black Emporium and the multiplayer maps at least, also the voice over pack if relevant, unless they even changed getting the free DLCs.

I also assumed you had the EA Play (so GotY) version due to your screenshots, so sorry for that confusion. As EA_Shephard said, if you do have EA Play, install that version so you get all the extra stuff. Just be aware that if you stop your sub you won't be able to continue your save games due to missing DLCs.

@iJordiiii This is working as intended. When the GOTY released they bundled DLC into that edition of the game. In order to get any other DLC that was offered, you would have to own the GOTY edition now.

  • @EA_Shepard Thanks for the reply. But there doesn't seem to be a GOTY edition on EA Play, see my additional screenshot.

Hi @iJordiiii, You would have to purchase one from a retailer, unfortunately. Since you already own the base game, there isn't an upgrade so to speak that will provide that edition of the game.

@iJordiiii The Black Emporium is and always has been a free DLC, so GotY version or not, you should have it. If you go into the game page in the EA App and click Manage > Manage Add-ons it should have a list of all your DLCs, does the Black Emporium show up and say it's installed?
Have you made sure you're logged in in-game (and to the EA App), no AV or firewall is interfering with the game connecting to the internet?

When did you install the game? If it was before the EA App took over from Origin, you might unfortunately need to do an uninstall and reinstall for the DLCs to install properly.

  • @Leora85 You can see the screenshots i posted earlier, there are no DLC's available. Also it's a fresh install from a few days ago. The key was from before the EA app got launched, i never actually redeemed it untill now. I'm also logged in, for example i can access the multiplayer without issues.

To be fair, i've already concluded that i am not getting my free DLC and i just have to let it go. Thanks for the help anyway, it seems like you took it more serious then @EA_Shepard and i really appreciate that you took the time and effort posting this reply. Much love!

@iJordiiii The information provided above is straight from the studio team. Your account has a standard edition of the game. If you have an EA Play subscription, you need to uninstall your version and install the one provided by the EA Play sub. The DLC will not show up for you unless you install the GOTY edition and not the standard edition.
