[EA app] I keep getting asked to activate my game through Origin

For context: I bought my game through Steam ages ago. Now it's modded. I haven't played in months and launched it - as I always did - through Frosty. I got a notification saying I need the latest Dat...

Pleases clean reinstall Steam with Revo as well.
Have you uninstalled the game with Revo?

If that still don't work I would suggest to install the game to a different drive.

Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
Delete the "License" folder.
Test

I had an issue where the game (which I have been playing since winter 2024) for some reason just started requesting activation (April 2025), but would not let me enter my EA login credentials (either said invalid username or password, or would tell me I am offline).

Deleting "License" from the "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" folder did the trick!
