My party does not load into the Envy Demon boss fight. I did the Grand Hall and 3 Veteran Templar precursor quest with just my rogue and didn't realize it was bugged until the boss one-shots me. I have no way of defeating the Envy Demon and no way to leave the area. My previous manual save is 2 hours earlier. The autosave loading point is after the bug exists. I watched the fight on Youtube to confirm that you are supposed to have all 4 party members available.
I am having a kind of similair problem. Not sure if this should be its own post. After envy demon fight (i kill the demon) and I am heading back to the great hall, right as I leave the battle area I get a sort of half loading screen, half gameplay screen. The game just sits there. I can hear my character slash and fight but I cannot move.
I've found that if you alt-tab during the loading screen right before the boss fight, it seems to avoid that specific case. Worked for me 3 out of 3 times, at least.
Okay, a lot of people in this thread had derailed the issue of the Original Post.
Yes, there is the glitch where your party turns into puppets and so far a lot of you have figured out a work-around.
For the Original Post, myself, and several other people--- we're stuck with NO party members. Hell, even if we had a puppet party, I'd at least have the hope of the "reload"-workaround.
As it is, I'm stuck at the Envy Demon--- alone. As a Melee Rogue.
