[Exalted Plains] The Dead Hand puzzle broken

I completed the puzzle correctly, lighting up all 4 orb pilars. But then nothing. I looked around, looked at solution videos online and the little pink orbs never happeared for me. I'm stuck with the 4 main orbs lit, and the 2 other in the small next room empty.

Is there any ways to reset this? Is this a known bug? What can/should I do?
