failed to start because side-by-side configuration is incorrect
I've updated with the patch, and when I try to start the game I get "The application has failed to start because side-by-side configuration is incorrect." Help please.

If like me you've tried everything to resolve this error - and nothing works, you might try checking (if you have one for your app) the .config file.
What we found was a comment block the was NOT CLOSED - thus making the rest of the .config file from that point onward one big comment!
