Feel like kind of an idiot asking this but - Why can't I level up? (PC)

So the game tells me to hit "p" to level my character up..and on the level up screen it states, "Some features are currently unavailable"..then a few moments later, the text is gone, but I still can'...

I am having the same issue - at Level 4 and can't level up any of my characaters. If this is intentional, it is very misleading (especially after the tutorial told me to level up while the character record remains locked.)

I agree. This is a severe error if it's not intentional..that I hope they address ASAP..as it makes the game rather unplayable.
