Fereldan Locks Glitch
Also forgot to ask if they could make a patch so I can get the 5 Fereldan Locks for the Prisoner Cages? On PS3.

I was wondering if it somehow it upgraded the prison to your castle? If not then I'm not concerned about it. Thanks for the info. In my second game I'll keep that in mind.

No, these quests do not affect anything in the game besides giving you power and influence. Any text you read is just flavor to make them seem more interesting. They are all essentially: go out, find 5 units of XYZ (usually by killing 10 of enemy ABC, or mining ore node DEF and GHI) and return to the requisition table for your power and influence reward.
