"Find a missing key" won't disappear from on-screen quest log

So I picked up this side-quest during the "Wicked ways" main quest, but didn't complete as my primary focus was to get 100 approval. After finishing the main quest, I've had the "find a missing key" quest appear in my on-screen quest log and after 3 hours it is still there. I can't go back and complete the quest, so is it going to stay there for the rest of playthrough? Not a game-breaking bug but it will be very annoying to have it on my screen for the many hours I have left.

Same problem here! No way to remove it and can't find it anywhere in the log.

It's such a pain, it won't disappear unless it is fixed. So I've been trying to bring this to their attention as a patch is the only way it will stop. I've been posting on here and twitter (multiple times) yet I've been ignored. It's only a little thing but it's really annoying me now.

I have it, too, for the first time after multiple play-throughs. Really annoying. It only happens if you don't go into the vault for the elven locket. I did not want to waste halla statues on that room as that was not the path I wanted to follow. Other doors needed opening! Almost year and no one has addressed it? FIX IT PLEASE!!! I have at least 2 more play-throughs ahead of me.
