I have a big problem, some of the followers is not where the minimap say's they are. Sera i have yet to get to reapere, but most of them apears after some seconds. but not sera. So i cant talk to here. and that is frustrating as hell. The problem started in skyhold.
Lots of people have this issue. There doesn't seem (as far as I know) to be a known fix, other than waiting for them to show up again or perhaps finding them near their intended location (as apparently they wander around a little).
I'm having a similar problem, but reloading, waiting, turning away and turning back (which did make some people appear) doesnt work on my Cassandra or Blackwall. Since i hit Skyhold, neither of them appear. I've wandered around trying to find them, since i know sometimes characters wander. I had the issue with Cassandra a few times in Haven, but i've been in Skyhold for hours and she only appears at the War Table. Unless Blackwall buried himself in the barn, hes never there either. Ugh.
Otherwise, everythings cool.
They are always marked at the map where they are suposed to be at the time of the game. But yes most of the Followers are not on the usal place when you come to skyhold, but they are marked on the map where they are suposed to be at the state of the game.
I think i have found the solution. take the companion that you cant find, with you out in the field and then return. It made mine come back to the surface.
Here is a semi fix I found worked, it's a little annoying but simply just save your game standing around or near where your companion is supposed to be and then just click load, click the save and the party member should be there. I had this problem even in Haven and I've never had to load my game up more than twice. Hope this helps.
