Game always crashes when trying to go to Val Royeaux

Hi! Self-explanatory. Game runs fine in all the prologue scenes, can explore in the Hinterlands for hours unimpeded, but every time I try to progress the main quest by going to Val Royeaux, it crashe...

    Your computer doesn't have adequate performance to meet the minimum requirement, as you have been advised.

Silliest question first....have you tried repairing the game by Origin option??

Have you tried leaving everyone but your Inquisitor at Haven when you go?

Have you tried using different armor on your Inquisitor??
