Your computer doesn't have adequate performance to meet the minimum requirement, as you have been advised.
You are talking about the very first time you go to VR...which means you should be getting a cutscene intro to the city visit by your Inquisitor. For whatever reason it sounds like this cutscene is what is hanging up your game. Do you have any command lines entered in origin, such as a FPS fix command, or anything such as that. You may also try altering the graphics quality, ratio, or effects such as AA. You may also see if you can change between Direct X and Mantle(since you have a AMD Video device). If none of this works, you may want to post a full DiaX report rather than just screens of your hardware info...there are some crash reports in it as well as drivers and such.
No command line. Switched off from Mantle, lowered all graphics to their minimums, and the only difference was as opposed to crashing after a few minutes of load time, it crashed almost immediately. I'm assuming lower settings = faster load times so it seems any time the cutscene is approaching is what triggers the crash. Attached a report. Thanks again!
At the bottom of your DiaX file is crashes and issues...I see several that list WUDFHost.exe which is a windows driver base system and usually only shows in crash reports when dealing with a bad driver. I would see about getting a clean driver utility that will uninstall your drivers, start with video and then reinstall them with latest and see if you fix the issue. You will need to do video, audio, and maybe even mouse and keyboard depending on how lucky you get. I know I saw one driver cleaner in another tech forum about the latest usable drivers from AMD and Nvidea.
Thank you. Do you recommend any particular program? I've updated my AMD drivers very recently but when I initially bought the laptop it was still on Catalyst so perhaps there are remnants of those outdated drivers somewhere
AMD has their own...try it for video, after that google what you need a read reviews and such very carefully.
