I had to run a search but was able to find the file. ran as admin, rebooted, tested game; same result where the game closed as soon as the new game splashscreen started to load.
I then looked at programs through control panel and found I had two versions of PhysX loaded. So, I unloaded both, reloaded 9.09.0408 and got the same result. I then unloaded 9.09.0408 and loaded 9.19.0218. Still got same result. (reboots were done after each reload.) At the moment I have 9.19.0218 loaded.
All installs were run as admin; system was rebooted each time the software was installed.
Please run the 9.09.0408 version that comes with the game.
Then preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.
Make sure your virus scanner and other security software and also Afterburner and similar software is disabled.
Make also sure that your GPU & CPU are not overclocked.

Reinstalled 9.09.0408 and rebooted
performed clean boot and disabled virus scanner
tested game; issue remains
