Game only works in window, complete PC crash when fullscreen

So that's the problem : i cant seem to be able to make DAI work other than in a tiny window, 1280:1050. As soon as i try to change the size of the window, my computer crashes. The game isn't able to support fullscreen either...

When i first tried it, i was able to create my character, then i came to the cinematic with the first dialogue choice and eveything went to hell. By playing windowed, i'm able to go through the story, but i'm kinda pissed off by the fact of having to play nose on my screen if i want to be able to see anything...

I've been looking through the forums to find other people with the same issue, but i haven't found exactly the same so far, and none of the solutions offered worked so far...

It's not a black screen, or white screen with end of the program, it's my entire computer that just freezes and crashes, had to reboot it more than 20 times so far...

here is my dxdiag, if someone has any ideas, i'm open, so far i wanted to play, but the windowed mode is reaaaaally starting to eat my spirit away...

    interesting that makes me wanna try only the windowed mode.

    I am playing in full windowed mode and once in a while usually mid cut scenes my computer will just freeze forcing a restart.

    Is that what happened to you and did windowed mode fixed it?

    In part, yes. The full window mode doesn't work, but the windowed only is fine (makes you play in 1280:1050 though)

    In fullscreen the game crashes during cutscenes and cinematics, at the start of combat and randomly when you move the camera around...

    So far in windowed, if you do NOT change the size of the window at all, the game is stable.

    Hi guys came back to report windowed mode did not work.

    Close to 30 freezes/crashes now and counting and the search for solution continues

    Got something new : game is stable even in ultra in any other resolution than the native one. I mean i'm 1680x1050 on desktop, and the game crashes systematically in this resolution. As soon as i change the resolution, game is stable, no lag, no freezes, no crashes. Can it be a conflict between the game and the native? if so what can i do to resolve that?

    I will try to keep it running while downgrading the native resolution, and upping the one in the game; if there's conflict, it should solve it?

    The switch of resolutions didn't worked, the game crashed before launching when i tried to set it in 1680x1050.

    The problem i have seems to be with the resolution then, anyone have an idea of how i can make it work, besides launching it in 1280x800 (not pretty...)?

    I did some tests with MSI afterburner and my PC crashes in fullscreen due to a massive spike of GPU load, it reaches 98% and then everything freezes. I have the latest drivers installed, does this problem come from my hardware, or is it just a software bug?

    Anyone has any idea how i could keep the GPU load under control?

    Have you tested using the borderless / frameless Windowed Mode? 

    Well, shoot, I missed that (can you enclose that included part of a DXDiag in a set of "Soiler" brackets to make the thread easiuer to read?)  

    The key combination that may help some with the problem is Alt-Enter together. 

    P. S. There is a still newer Geforce driver, 344.80

    Yes, it doesn't work either. I tried to extend the windowed to full size, it crashes, in fullscreen, it crashes and in windowed borderless, it crashes. only condition of stability is to play windowed without changing anything, or to play with 1280x800 resolution, who seems to lighten up the load on the GPU...
