Golden nug doesn't appear in Haven
The stone statue base is there between the stables and smith but no statue or anything I can interact with. Have tried repairing the game but still the same.

I don't have a nug either. I deleted the character that finished the game (non-DLC), is this why I do not have a nug?
- You have to get to trespasser and go to the winter palace then there will be a Golden nug in the crafting area. Click the bug and click activate to put all the schematics you have on you in the nug
@inquisilavellan You do not have to get to trespasser, the nug is available to those without any expansions, too. You merely need to finish the game then interact with the nug in skyhold (it's downstairs in the crafting area) to upload/sync your schematics. They will then be available to any other character you have/start.
There is no way to return to Skyhold once having left for the Exalted Council. So if you hadn't already synced with the Golden Nug before heading to the Winter Palace, you'll need to load a "post-Victory/pre-Trespasser" save in order to do so. (Any such save, for any character.)
But once through the main game and having interacted with the Nug once, you don't even have to get to Skyhold in a NG+. His Nugness will be in Haven, just outside the smithy next to the corral. 😇
