How do I access origin's original saved games?

I have  an ultimate edition copy of origins. After putting in 100+  hours getting to the Landsmeet portion, I thought I'd take a break and try out the awakenings campaign. I assumed I could easily get back to my saves in the Landsmeet. Now it only offers me my awakenings saves. How do I get back to my saves in the original campaign? I don't want to slog through the eons it took me to get to where my Alienage save was eaten.

  • You didn't loose the saves.

If  you play Awakenings with an imported character the game will create a separate folder in your "C:\Users\Username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters" folder for the Awakening saves (usually the name of this folder will be the first name of the character with a "1" after it).

When you want to play your Origin Warden (and not your Awakenings one):

    1) Select "Load Game".
    2) Along the bottom of the screen select "Switch Character...".
    3) Use the image along the right side of the screen and information below it to determine which character is the one you want.
    4) Highlight the character and click "Select".
    5) Next you should see a list of your Origin saves.

A PC with windows 7.  Everything worked fine until my saves vanished. And it is still working fine as I grudgingly work through Awakenings.

Thanks so much. I was pretty sure the saves were somewhere, I just couldn't figure out how to find them.
