Community Manager@Yazakyn The unauthorized only happens when the content and game don't match. You don't own it, its been moved, on different drives, etc.
You should be able to just repair the game and run the updater from the install folder. The issue could be different drives though. They really should be on the same drive as the game and Steam.
Also, you use the patch updated on the help site with the DLC. This has also fixed it. I tested it myself as I still have the original copy and was able to get it up and running.
