I can't get Blackwal is there another way

So I got to sky hold and I have everyone on my team except Blackwal so as I try to acuire him looking to the mission lone warden witch I never done I realize that I can't get him. Is there another way...

You should have a mission to investigate reports of a Warden in the Hinterlands, and Blackwall is that warden. He's at the lake near the small waterfall, not far from the first viewing skull.

That's the problem I can't get that mission from what I'm getting from the Internet the mission is " lone warden" put I'm to far ahead to get that quest
