I have downloaded Dragon Age 2 from the Mac Game Store (3rd Party) and was able to install the game, however I receive error messages every time

Hello,

I have purchased Dragon Age II for  MAC OSX and have been unable to play it.

I was able to install it correctly. However, when  I click "Play," I have to activate the product. I was successfully able to sign for Origin and create an account. Consequently, I am unable to play the game due to the fact that I keep receiving various error messages. Some examples of the errors messages I constantly get are "We are unable to connect to EA Servers to activate Dragon Age II on this computer using your account. Please try again later," basically all the error messages I receive are about validation.

I have looked at the provided solutions for listed on your website, however none of them seem to help. Please get back to me asap. I really want to play this game.

So is there an answer to this question a year and a half later? I'd like to know if I ought to just wait (EA servers problem?) or if it's even worth playing any of the DA games on Mac at all. i just downloaded and have been trying to activate DAII for two hours now.
