"In Hushed Whispers" story quest will not complete

Hi guys,

I rode into Redcliffe mounted and I believe this is causing this quest not to complete.

I have googled this problem and others have the same issue.

I have tried going into every building in Redcliffe, talking to NPC's, toggling the quest on and off, fast travel, pretty much everything trying to trigger the completion.

I am way to far in to reset the quest or reload.

I thought it would have been picked up in the recent patch but it appears not to have been.

Any ideas would be appreciated and I am playing on Windows 7, PC.

I have reached Skyhold some 20-30 hours ago, so maybe the quest marker is just stuck and none of the gameplay is affected....?
