Installing Dragon Age 2

So I'm currently having an issue with downloading Dragon Age 2 from the EA App...

I bought it directly from EA, and have installed it in the past on Origin with no issues. On the EA App however, it seems to get stuck at around 77% both while installing, and during the repair process, before jumping to 100%, thereafter asking me to repair everytime I try to launch the game. I'm aware DLC's are an issue of its own and need to be installed seperately.

I've tried:

-Reinstalling the game itself

-Reinstalling the EA App itself

-Running the EA App as Administrator

-Switching regions around

-Clearing my EA Cache

All with no luck. I wish there was an alternate way to download the Dragon Age 2 base game like there are with the DLC's... I've seen this issue around past forums, the fact that EA allows this to be an ongoing issue... Anyways, any ideas?

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste:  "%temp%"   (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    Then:

    • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
    • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
    • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Moderate" > Browse
    • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
    • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All > Delete
    • Restart the PC > Reinstall the newest version of EA app from here.

Hi here, I followed all the instructions as written but unfortunately no luck. I've seen the issue around the forums so I feel like it might be an issue EA side... On the origin app I had no issues whatsoever and I know that DLC's aren't even available from the EA App for DA:2. Maybe I should just get a pirated copy, considering the EA App isn't capable of letting me download a paid for product or it's DLC's, whereas Origin had no issues.

The ongoing problem was that the download got stuck at 14% preparation, so this might be a different problem.
But it us still entirely possible that this is an related issue on EAs side.
